Entry requirements for the Maldives in 2026
Visa: Tourists of all nationalities, including citizens of Ukraine and Romania, are issued with a free tourist visa valid for up to 30 days upon arrival. There is no need to apply for it in advance. To obtain a visa on arrival, you must provide confirmation of accommodation booking at one of the officially registered resorts in the aforementioned island nation.

The Maldives has also introduced the so-called electronic "Traveller Declaration" (electronic "Traveller Declaration"), which must be submitted electronically to the Maldives Immigration Service 96 hours before arrival and before departure from the Maldives. You can complete and submit the relevant declaration on the official website of the Migration Service by following this link https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/

A separate declaration must be completed for each traveller. Once you have completed the declaration, you will receive a QR code, which you must print out or save on your mobile phone. You must present this when passing through passport control.

Customs control. You may bring in up to 200 cigarettes duty-free. It is prohibited to import alcohol, narcotics, weapons, pork and pork products, e-cigarettes, vapes and their components.
