TAROM (IATA code: RO; ICAO code: ROT) is a Romanian airline, founded in 1954, with one of the youngest fleets in Europe, consisting of 18 aircraft, and a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 1993. TAROM operates under the authority of the Ministry of Transport and has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance since 25 June 2010. The company flies to more than 50 destinations of its own and those of its codeshare partners.

TAROM flights: seat map and seat reservation fee for TAROM flights
Unfortunately, it is not possible to book seats on TAROM charter flights at the moment.
Pets in the cabin on TAROM flights:
АTAROM Airlines accepts cats and dogs for carriage on board.
The number of animals allowed on each flight is limited.
For information on the documents required and the rules for travelling with an animal, the passenger should contact the relevant services.
Carriage of an animal in the cabin – from 50 EUR*
- Maximum weight - up to 8 kg (including container)
- Container dimensions - 42x26x20 cm (length, width, height)
Pets are not permitted in the passenger cabin (PETC) or in the baggage compartment (AVIH) on the following destinations: United Kingdom (London) and United Arab Emirates (Dubai), due to restrictive local legislation.

Children and infants on TAROM flights
Categories:
- up to 2 years - infant
They travel in the arms of their parents without taking up a separate seat. An adult passenger may travel with only one infant. Newborns under 7 days old are not accepted for carriage.
- from 2 to 12 years old - a child
When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket will be issued. No additional discounts are available, children have a separate seat on the aircraft.
Unaccompanied minors on TAROM flights:
- The service is available on request for children aged 5 to 12 years
- Cost - from 100 EUR* per child one way
*Cost is per one-way passenger, valid at the time of publication and subject to change.
Under Romanian law, unaccompanied minors are Romanian nationals who are under 18 at the time of travel.
Foreign nationals under 12 years of age at the time of travel are considered unaccompanied minors when travelling independently. From the age of 12 up to the age of 18, the Unaccompanied Minor Service is provided at the request of a parent/guardian (subject to availability).

Passengers should check the rules for crossing the border of the country of departure/transit/destination and the documents required, as well as the airline's rules for unaccompanied minors.
Online check-in is not available for charter flights.
Check-in at the airport:
- Check-in begins 3 hours prior to departure.
- Check-in closes 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
