1.About HiSky airline: history, fleet.

HiSky  - is a Moldovan airline based in Chisinau, Moldova, with an additional Air Operational Certificate (AOC) in Romania. The airline's main bases are Chisinau and Cluj-Napoca international airports.

The first flight of HiSky Airlines was operated from Chisinau to Hurghada, Egypt on March 5, 2021, and in 2023, HiSky Airlines became the fourth largest airline in Romania by number of passengers carried.

The airline's fleet consists of seven Airbus aircraft:
- 1 Airbus A319 with 144 seats,
- 4 Airbus A320s with 180 seats,
- 2 Airbus A321 neo LR with 220 seats.
Two new state-of-the-art Airbus A321neoLR aircraft were added to the HiSky fleet in the first half of 2023. Due to the increased performance of this type of aircraft, the airline is able to operate direct flights over longer distances. The A321neoLR can cover a distance of up to 7,400 km non-stop, which is the longest range among narrow-body aircraft.
The average age of HiSky's fleet is seven years, making it one of the youngest in Europe.

If necessary, you can book the desired seats on regular HiSky flights in advance when creating a ticket reservation request or in your personal account no later than 72 hours before departure.

Transportation of animals in the cabin on HiSky flights:

HiSky Airlines accepts only dogs and cats for transportation on board.
Each flight has a limited number of animals for transportation.
For information on the necessary documents and rules for transporting an animal, the passenger should check with the relevant services.

Transportation of an animal in the cabin - from 65 EUR*
- Maximum weight - up to 8 kg (including the container)
- Container parameters - in the sum of 3 dimensions should not exceed 115 cm.

Transportation of an animal in the baggage compartment is not allowed.

Transportation of children and infants on regular/charter HiSky flights

Categories:

• up to 2 years old - infant

They travel in the arms of their parents, without taking a separate seat. One adult passenger can travel with only one infant. Newborns under the age of 7 days are not accepted for transportation.

• from 2 to 12 years old - child

When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket is issued and a separate seat is provided on board. A discount is also provided, depending on the fare rules (except for Charter and BASIC fares)

Unaccompanied minors on HiSky flights:
- The service is provided for children aged 5 to 18 years
- The cost is from 50 EUR per child one way

Passengers must check the rules for crossing the border of the country of departure/transit/destination by minors and the necessary documents and the airline's rules for unaccompanied minors - on their own.

According to Romanian law, Romanian citizens who have not reached the age of 18 at the time of the start of the trip are considered unaccompanied minors.
Foreign citizens who have not reached the age of 12 at the time of the flight are considered unaccompanied minors when traveling alone. Starting from the age of 12 and until the age of 18, the unaccompanied minor service is provided (subject to availability) at the request of a parent/legal guardian.

Meals on HiSky flights
Meals are not provided on medium-haul and charter flights of HiSky Airlines.

Check-in for regular/charter HiSky flights:

Online check-in is available depending on the airport and flight status and is free of charge:
- Check-in starts 72 hours before departure,
- Check-in ends 3 hours before the scheduled departure time

If you do not check in online, you will have to pay for check-in at the airport from 10 EUR per person one way(for Basic tickets). At airports where online check-in is not available, check-in at the airport is free of charge.

Check-in at the airport:
- Check-in starts 3 hours before the flight departure
- Check-in ends 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time
