1. About AnimaWings airline: history, fleet

AnimaWings (code ІАТА (IATA): A2; code ІКАО (ICAO): AWG) – the Romanian airline, based at Bucharest Airport, operates both scheduled and charter flights. It is a modern and dynamic airline that strives to offer its passengers high-quality services.

AnimaWings is supervised by the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority. As a full member of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Romania adheres to the highest safety standards in the world and applies a uniform European regulatory and certification process.

In addition to certification under one of the most stringent jurisdictions, Animawings fully leverages the vast experience of its management system and the expertise of its team. When it comes to aircraft maintenance, AnimaWings has chosen the best solution by outsourcing maintenance and overhaul to a reliable European partner, Lufthansa Technics.

AnimaWings currently operates three Airbus A220 aircraft and two Airbus A320 aircraft. By the end of 2026, the fleet will be expanded to 12 aircraft, which will enhance their efficiency and productivity.

AnimaWings: flights: seat map and seat reservation fee for AnimaWings charter flights

Advance seat reservations on AnimaWings charter flights are not available.
Seats are assigned to passengers at the airport during check-in.

Pets in the cabin on AnimaWings charter flights

AnimaWings airline accepts only dogs and cats for carriage in the aircraft cabin (max. 4-5 animals per flight).
Passengers must check with the relevant authorities themselves for information on the necessary documents and rules for transporting animals. For further information, passengers can visit the official website of the European Union, which sets out the rules for transporting pets.
On flights to/from the United Arab Emirates, the carriage of pets in the cabin (PETC) is prohibited.
For information on the documents required and the rules for travelling with an animal, the passenger should contact the relevant services.

Carriage of an animal in the cabin – from 55 EUR*

The transportation of pets in AVIH (cargo) is not permitted on any AnimaWings aircraft.

Children and infants on AnimaWings charter flights:

Categories:

• up to 2 years - infant

Travel on their parents' laps. For infants, a regular passenger ticket is issued without the right to occupy a separate seat in the cabin. Newborns under 7 days old are not accepted for transportation.

• from 2 to 12 years old - a child

When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket will be issued. No additional discounts are available, children have a separate seat on the aircraft.

Unaccompanied minor on AnimaWings charter flights:
- The service is provided upon request to children aged 5 to 16
- Cost – from EUR 65* per child one way

There is a limited number of unaccompanied children on each flight.

IMPORTANT! Under Romanian law, unaccompanied minors are Romanian nationals who are under 18 at the time of travel.
Foreign nationals under 12 years of age at the time of travel are considered unaccompanied minors when travelling independently. From the age of 12 up to the age of 18, the Unaccompanied Minor Service is provided at the request of a parent/guardian (subject to availability).

Passengers should check the rules for crossing the border of the country of departure/transit/destination and the documents required, as well as the airline's rules for unaccompanied minors.
