1. About SkyUp MT Airlines: history, fleet

In May 2023, a new airline, SkyUp MT, was launched in Europe under the SkyUp brand, with its headquarters in Malta. Currently, SkyUp continues to cooperate with all companies operating under the Join UP! brand in the countries where it operates, providing charter and regular flights for its tourists.Operating under the SkyUp brand:
- a company with Ukrainian registration SkyUp LLC (IATA code: PQ; ICAO: SQP)
- a company with Maltese registration SkyUp MT (IATA code: U5; ICAO: SEU).

As of August 2023, SkyUp's fleet includes 10 medium-haul aircrafts:

The Boeing 737-800 New Generation is equipped with the Sky Interior configuration, an improved interior design with LED lighting and more comfortable and spacious overhead bins.
The rest of the fleet has been re-equipped with comfortable eco-leather seats - Geven, designed by the famous Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. It is planned to install Geven seats on all aircrafts, as these seats are more ergonomic, comfortable for passengers and offer additional space.

SkyUp MT luggage: hand luggage, allowance

All additional items that you wish to take into the aircraft cabin in excess of the hand luggage allowance provided for by your fare (e.g. outerwear, umbrella, laptop, duty-free goods, etc.) must be packed in your hand luggage or paid for as a separate item.

* Charter fare offers may be for scheduled flights (blocks of seats on a scheduled flight at a special fare)
** Hand luggage is considered to be 1 bag with food and items necessary for an infant during the flight

SkyUp MT luggage: checked baggage allowance on SkyUp MT flights

Weight cannot be divided into multiple pieces of luggage (bags/suitcases)

* Charter fare offers may be for scheduled flights (blocks of seats on a scheduled flight at a special fare)
** On regular flights, one folded baby stroller (maximum dimensions not exceeding 115 cm in total) is transported free of charge for children aged 2 years and older
*** Important! On regular flights, the weight of each piece of checked baggage must not exceed 32 kg and the dimensions must not exceed 190*75*65 cm

Seat reservation on SkyUp MT flights is available in your personal account on our website at least 72 hours before departure.

Cost of advance reservation of seats on the aircraft:

*the price is per one-way passenger, is valid at the time of publication and is subject to change
** on regular flights, seat prices are not fixed and change constantly

On regular flights operated by SkyUp MT:

- “Fly & Smile” fare: seat selection is free except for rows 1-5 and emergency rows,
- “Fly & Celebrate” fare: any seat on board is free of charge.

Carriage of an animal in the cabin on SkyUp MT regular/charter flights

Dogs and cats are accepted for carriage. The number of animals allowed on each flight is limited, , no more than 4 (PETC) and no more than 5 (AVIH).
For information on the documents required and the rules for transporting an animal, the passenger should contact the relevant services.

Transportation of an animal in the cabin – 75 EUR*
- Maximum weight - up to 10 kg (including the container)
- Container dimensions - 50х40х25 cm (length, width, height)
- Cages, soft baskets and travel bags specially designed for transportation of small animals by air, placed only under the front seat

Transportation of an animal in the luggage compartment, up to 23 kg – 110 EUR*
- Maximum weight - 23 kg (including the container)
- Container dimensions - no more than 250 cm in the sum of three dimensions (75х75х100 cm)

Transportation of an animal in the luggage compartment, up to 32 kg – 130 EUR*
- Maximum weight - from 23 kg to 32 kg (including the container)
- Container dimensions - no more than 250 cm in the sum of three dimensions (75х75х100 cm)

Transportation of children and infants on SkyUp MT regular/charter flights

Categories:

• up to 2 years - an infant

 They travel in the arms of their parents without occupying a separate seat. An adult passenger may travel with only one infant. Newborns under 7 days old are not accepted for carriage.

• from 2 to 12 years old – child

When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket will be issued. There are no additional discounts, children have a separate seat on the plane.

Unaccompanied minor:
- The service must be booked for children aged 5 to 11 (inclusive). For children aged 12 to 16 (inclusive), the service can be booked on request.
- The cost is 60-75 EUR per child one way

There is a limited number of unaccompanied children on each flight, to clarify the possibility of registration of the service, please send a request to our e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. no later than 96 hours before departure.
At the check-in counter, agents will ask you to fill out a special form called "Unaccompanied Minor Handling Advice". After that, an airline representative will accompany the child to the plane, where flight attendants will take care of them.
Passengers should check the rules for crossing the border of the departure/transit/destination country for minors and the required documents and airline rules for unaccompanied minors - on their own.

The online check-in service is not currently available for all destinations. You can check the availability of online registration, as well as register online, in the 'My bookings' section of the airline website.

Check-in methods (regular flights)

You can check-in for your flight at the airport of departure by contacting the check-in desk at the airport:
- for JUST FLY, FLY&SMILE fare - 25 EUR per passenger one way,
- for FLY&CELEBRATE fare - free of charge.

Online check-in is also available on the airline's website, in the "My Bookings" section:
- for JUST FLY fare - 72 hours prior to departure,
- for FLY&SMILE fare - 15 days prior to departure,
- for FLY&CELEBRATE fare - 30 days prior to departure.

Check-in for the flight and boarding (regular and charter flights):

• Start of check-in: 2.5 hours before departure
• End of check-in: 45 minutes before departure
• Start of boarding: 45 minutes before departure
• End of boarding: 20 minutes before departure
